The story behind it started with my sister. She tricked me into going to her place of work where the girls there mobbed me and begged for this piece of art. Evidently there is this retired Marine that now works delivering flowers to local florists. This Valentines day he gave each girl that works with my sister (and including her) Five dozen roses EACH! I got four roses out of the deal LOL. My sister's home now looks like a funeral parlor. My house.. well.. my pet rabbit ate the roses, so I'm left with nothing but rabbit poop to show for it.

Anyway.. they asked for a painting with the marine flag and an american eagle and roses to symbolize the roses that they were given. Its not my usual choice for art, but here it is.
