It is time It is the place
A long time ago there was a land
Where humans, half humans, and animals lived in peace. That was until man
felt a great need to expand, to take over the lands.
Slowly little by little man destroyed and burned everything that was
precious to animals and the half humans of the land.
One day a council of elders came together and they all agreed that the
humans were to be banished.
Working together they drew out the humans and exiled them all. The way they
came they sealed off.
But a few of the half-animals believed that not all the humans were bad.
But during the edict all humans were drawn away.
So they gave a select few a map. A map that will bring them back to the
land they were exiled.
But only when they are ready. Ready to come back and join a society based
around love and beauty of nature.
The maps were given to a select few who held onto their gift givers for dear
life as they were whisked away from the land. Some hid it in chests other
hanged it on the wall. Most realized too late that the map was not meant
for them.
So the maps were handed down generation after generation. Over time, some
of the maps were destroyed by great fire. Others by man greed. Still
others were locked away as if it was some antiqued to be studied and
analyzed. But few did remain in the blood that they were given.
And handed down from generation to generation. Now I believe I am too old
for this map. I still remember my grandfather giving me this and I did hope
that I was the one. But now my bones are too brittle to even think if the
map did reveal itself on the paper I would be able to travel.
So I hand this family treasure to you with the oath that if the map ever
reveals itself to you must go. GO follow your instincts and track down
where the land lies and show them that we are not all the same. That we can
love like the others. That we care. And we are not killing machines out
there to make everyone die.
So please take it and when you are ready look at the map and maybe ... Maybe
someday. It will reunite man, animal, and half animals under the same sun as
equals.
And if the words about trees and the stars do not fade away to show you the
lay of the land. Please give it to one that is worthy of this gift. So that
someday our blood will mingle with the home land.
Now go. And leave me with my dreams and I pray that your dreams come true.
